It is the mission of Five Bridges Jr High to educate students to responsible use of cell phones. Cell phones may be used before and after school and they may be used at lunch. They may not be used in class transition times.

During instructional time, however, cell phones may only be used as directed by the teacher. Cell phones may NOT be used as a recreational activity if a student’s work is complete.

Should a student use their phone other than as directed by the teacher, the teacher will ask the student to put the phone away. Should the student use the phone a second time, not directed by the teacher, the teacher will hold the student phone on her/his desk until class is over.
